WHO MANAGES COMPLAINTS?

Polocrosse Australia has signed up to the National Integrity Framework, which means if you are a member of Polocrosse Australia you can register a complaint if you believe a fellow member has behaved poorly and potentially breached one of the policies covered under the National Integrity Framework or Polocrosse Australia.

Depending on the nature of the complaint you can register your complaint with either Sport Integrity Australia or Polocrosse Australia.

REPORT TO SPORT INTEGRITY AUSTRALIA

  • Child safeguarding matters
  • Discrimination based on age, sex, gender, race or religion
  • Doping behaviour
  • Misconduct with a child
  • Grooming
  • Supply of drugs or alcohol to a child

REPORT TO POLOCROSSE AUSTRALIA

  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Bullying
  • Harassment
  • Sexual Misconduct
  • Victimisation
  • Match fixing and other types of competition manipulation
  • Supplying inside information for the purposes of gambling
  • Betting on polocrosse events
  • Unlawful use of over the counter or prescription drugs
  • Inappropriate use or provision of supplements
  • Illicit drug use — human and/or horse
  • Concealing information about prohibited conduct
  • Personal grievances
  • Code of conduct
  • Selection disputes
  • Governance concerns

HOW DO I SUBMIT A COMPLAINT?

REPORTING INTEGRITY CONCERNS TO SPORT INTEGRITY AUSTRALIA

You can report directly to Sport Integrity Australia by filling out the complaint form on the Sport Integrity Australia website or by calling 1300 027 232 if you would prefer to speak with someone.

REPORTING INTEGRITY CONCERNS TO POLOCROSSE AUSTRALIA

You can report directly to Polocrosse Australia by filling out the Polocrosse Australia complaint form or emailing neo@polocrosse.org.au

Polocrosse Australia will evaluate and assess your complaint. Depending on the nature of your complaint, it may be delegated to your state association or club for further investigation. Polocrosse Australia will help these organisations manage your complaint to ensure it is handled confidentially and in accordance with our policies.

The Safe Sport Hotline is part of an expanded service offered to members of sport to share their story with a trusted member of the Sport Integrity Australia team about integrity issues they have experienced. The service includes an anonymous reporting capability that covers wider racial and cultural issues in sport for people who feel they have been discriminated against in their sport.

ABUSIVE OR INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT ONLINE
If you have a concern about abusive or inappropriate material online, you can also report it to the eSafety Commissioner for action. eSafety can investigate cyberbullying of children, adult cyber abuse, image-based abuse (sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images without the consent of the person shown) and illegal and restricted content.
